Ben Spencer(defender) - Ben is a level headed utility player, a true club man. Keeps it simple rarely giving the ball away and turned in some impressive showings at the back last season. Ben has been with the club a long time and came through the ranks to become a valuable asset to the club in the Ridgeons League.
Simon Mann(attacking midfielder/defender) - Pacey, tall wing back. Adds explosive movement all over the pitch. Possesses an awesome right peg and brings the fans to their feet with his forward runs. Simon has the ability to change a game and notched up an impressive hat-trick against Thetford Town last season. Fully fit after sustaining a nasty injury playing for Colchester United.
David Grimwood(attacking midfielder) - David joined us from Felixstowe & Walton United and has proved to be a big asset to the team. Likes to be involved in every attack going forward but is also prepared to do his share of defending when needed. A top class midfield general. In 2007/2008 David scored the winning goal as his SIL team Grundisburgh won the Suffolk County Senior Cup final beating Hadleigh United 3-2.
Jonathan Crouch(defender/midfield) - ‘Jono’ picked up a bad leg injury towards the end of last season and is now starting to get back ionto light training and let's hope he is soon back on first team duty again.. Can play in midfield or at the back and ‘Jono’ is an uncompromising defender and is comfortable on the ball.
Jack Sibbons(defender/midfield) - Brantham signed Jack Sibbons from Harwich & Parkeston. Jack is a player who wants to get involved in everything and he is equally at home at the back as he is in midfield. Jack is one of those player who puts everything into the game.
Ryan Bedingfield(goalkeeper) - Was the first team keeper in 2007/2008 when we won the SIL Championship. Spent the early part of last season at Harwich and Parkeston and East Bergholt before rejoining us. On his day a top class goalkeeper and Ryan is a very good shot stopper.
Kieran Lawler(attacking midfield) - Kieran came through the youth set-up and an energetic player who has lots of potential. Was the club's leading goal scorer, playing up front, when we won promotion frrom the SIL. Quick into the tackle and certainly hits goals home when he is given the chance.
Sean Gunn(forward) - Another player who came through the youth set-up and Sean has fast feet and an even faster mouth and has a great future in the game. Sean is the sort of player who can turn any game in a split second. Has the pace, ability and skill to leave defenders flat footed.
Lee Grimwood(midfield/striker)
Lee, a proven striker, joined the club from SIL senior team Grundisburgh, just prior to Christmas. Lee has been top goal scorer in the senior division of the SIL and has already made his mark in the Ridgeons League. Notched up a very impressive hat-trick, one of many I have a feeling, away to Downham Town. Lee has electric pace and his ability to run at defenders and beat them is great to watch.
Adam Bloss(midfield)
Adam joined us from Premier Division side Harwich and Parkeston after the first team, withdrew from the Ridgeons League. Adam has also played for FC Clacton and is the sort of player who can boss the midfield and is the sort of player who thrives on challanges.

Dan Pryke
Dan Pryke joined us from top SIL team Grundisburgh and has proved his worth by playing some top class games, including playing at full back and in right midfield. Comfortable on the ball and has a good turn of speed.

Josh Mayhew
Josh has joined us from Woodbridge Town and had the best start possible to his Brantham career with a superb goal on his debut against Kirkley & Pakefield. Josh has been involved with Ipswich Town, Woodbridge Town, Hadleigh United, Needham Market and Woodbridge United again before joining us. A determined front man with plenty of pace and has an eye for goals.
Alex Drennan
joined us from Stanway and has already settled into the team. A hard tackling and strong player in defence Alex also likes to go forward whenever he gets the chance. Has played in the Northern League,Witham Town, Harwich and Parkeston. Alex has been with Stanway Rovers for five years and has been the skipper for the last four years and is a top class signing for Brantham.
Michael Brothers
Michael is a very experienced player and a football man through and through and he has played at a very good level, including Leiston, Needham Market, Sudbury, AFC Hornchurch and Harwich. During his career he won Ryman D1 North championship and Ridgeon’s Championships.  Michael says his ambition is to help develop younger players striving to be the next big star and his ability to lift players around him will be a big asset to Brantham and he is the sort of player that the younger lads in the team can look up to.
Ben Deacon
Ben has proved to be a top scorer in every team has he turned out for. Ben comes from a real football background and has played for Needham Market, Diss, Debenham, Mildenhall and Hadleigh United prior to joining us here at Brantham.  His favourite position on the field of play is striker and he has proved time and time again that he is a top class strike and has the ability to make ground quickly from almost a standing start.  His ambitions are to play for as long as he can. Ben opened his Brantham scoring account in his third game with a superb hat trick against Mildenhall Town.

Ben Garnham
Ben, who joined us from Felixstowe & Walton United, is a no-nonsense type of defensive midfielder and he is not afraid to get stuck into a tackle when needed.  Has a good turn of speed when going forward but tracks back and helps out at the back when needed.  Ben has taken over as the spot kick man for Brantham and has already put two pens away so far.  Ben played for Suffolk County FA when they won the under 18’s National champions trophy and his ambition is to play at the highest level possible.

Matt Ryland
Matt slotted into defence when he joined Brantham although his favoured position is in the centre of midfield, but I have a feeling that he is too valuable in the back four at the moment.  Has played for AFC Sudbury, Diss, Leiston, Mildenhall and his last club Felixstowe and Walton United.  Likes to get forward given the chance and has a good turn of speed to get back to help out when needed. His ambition is score more than 4 goals in a season, and I would not bet against that!

Jack Smith (Centre Midfield)
Jack has joined us from Maldon Town and is a top class midfield player. Comfortable on the ball and can turn defence into attack with just one pass. He scored a superb 35 yard goal on his debut for Brantham.  Jack has played for Halstead Town, Maldon Town and Tiptree before joining the “Blue Imps”.  His ambition is to play at the highest level possible and he is already involved in the coaching side of things.

Nico Farthing (Defender/Midfield)
Nico joined us from Halstead Town a little while ago and he has already settled into the team. Nico can play either in the back four where he gets involved in everything that is going on and is never going to shirk a tackle. He can also play in midfield and has the speed and ability to cause his opponents problems when he has the ball. Nick came through the Academy to play for the Halstead Town first team and has also been involved in cricket and American football.

ross

Ross Norfolk (Midfield)
Ross Norfolk has just recently joined Brantham Athletic from Stanway Rovers. Ross is a a hard working and impressive midfield man and was with Stanway Rovers for 6 years and prior to his move to Brantham was the Stanway Rovers skipper. He has already stamped his authority on the midfield and gets through a massive amount of work in every game.
