Ross Crouch Match/Opening of Grandstand-July 25th

The official opening of the Ross Crouch Grandstand at Brantham's ground. Cutting the ribbon in front of a full grandstand are, on behalf of the Crouch family (left) - Ipswich Town's Steve Foley and (right) - Jono Crouch, brother of Ross Crouch. The trophy that the match is being played for is in front of the two men cutting the ribbon.

The True Colours majorettes gave a display prior to the game. The troop were the Ipswich Town FC official majorettes for two seasons and now are the ''Heart' majorettes. They have already won over 50 trophies this season and they have been voted overall troop of the tournament on the day three times so far. The troop was started by Karen Crowhurst, wife of Brantham Athletic chairman Peter Crowhurst, daughter Katie Crowhurst, Tracey Spencer and Michelle Wood.



The Stanway captain Alex Drennan (Left) and the Brantham captain Jono Crouch (right of photo) in between the two captains is the mascot for the day, Edward Boggis, cousin of Ross Crouch. In the background are the three match officials - from left to right, John Mitchell, match referee Alan Dale and Glen Yellop.

The two teams, officials, officials from both clubs and Ipswich Town's Steve Foley in front of the new grandstand after the match had finished all square at 2-2.
